Yup, our leaves are long gone. Heavy frost on the grass today. I'm glad that my husband moved my composting worms into the garage. It would have been toast for them.

Still love the pumpkin! He's holding up quite well.

How many worms you got Carol? Quite a lot I'm guessing? How do they survive your brutal cold climate?

and I have a cheapo thing my hubby made me this year. Just some rubber maid bins stacked. He put a spout in the bottom and drilled wee little holes in the top.

I use the leachate for my roses.

I put them in the garage (well hubby does that). Then I put sleeping bags over top. I give them water once a month. They survive quite well. They're slower in eating which is good.

I love taking care of my worms. It's quite fun. I usually get my younger daughter and her friend to come help me get worms out of the compost when I want to use the compost. They love to help with the worms.

Carol, I thought you grow worms for fishing. :-) We have to buy a can of worms every time we go fishing. You can sell them........

Yeah, I guess, how much to worms go for??? I grow worms (red wrigglers) for composting my kitchen waste. It's fun, and I get wonderful soil.

We paid $3.50 to $4.50 for a small can. You can make some good bucks selling them.
