depends on what style bench. do you have ideas?

Essentially this is what I had in mind in terms of the bench with farm table and chairs. My bench won't be built in between two walls. I'm worried the bench will look random in this space. Initially we were going to center the farm table in the breakfast nook but just realized the space is too narrow for a farm table with chairs and counter height stools at the over hang.

no it wont look random at all not built in. and as long as only 2 people have to sit on the back (hard to get past knees to the middle) i think it would work well.

not built in is better, as you can slide it all away from the window in the winter. gets pretty cold on your back otherwise.
