What kind of pendant go well with this kitchen?
I like country French style

Lots of choices for your space as long as you don't go too big. No sure country French style is going to work with what you have. With the dark hardware and faucet, I would look for something with a similar metal and plainer glass. In your no nonsense kitchen anything too fussy will stick out like a sore thumb.

I like that Aquaterra -- was going to suggest something similar, with a bit of glass... Something a little cheaper might be something like this:

Doesn't have to be French country but I absolutely adore a mix of vintage pieces with new.

Ooh-la-la! Love your chandelier. Is it black or orb?

I like Emmy's pic of the vintage lighting pendants. Those are really nice

Now remember, you need know if you want them for lite, or esthetics. We bought some that screw in to the recessed cans above our counter top. They look great, however there is no where near the same amount of lighting. So we like the look, but cant see at night. Lol

They just seem too... Victorian! And do you really want to clean cooking grease off all those crystals and filagree?!? No, simple it down a bit. You can get glam from regular glass via frosting, facets, and so forth without resorting to that gothic complexity. Maybe mercury glass.

Not sure if you bought the chandeliers. If you're still looking, something like the ones in the kitchen above would def fit into the french country vibe. Have to admit though, the chandeliers really grew on me yesterday. Are they available in two finishes? The pictures showed both black and silver. Either one looks good (the size of the lights in my pics may be off so make sure to measure before ordering anything).

Gloria - those pendants are awesome, but for your space you really need something simple and clean. I know, I love me some bling too, but they're just too much.

Suzy, I also love them, I love to mix vintage and new, I don't like anything too simple or contemporary . I love things with character .

This is what I'm looking for!!!!

This is the better pic of the place, only that mine has Santa Cecilia granite and shaker cabinets in linen .

The pendants you posted with the aqua stools would work best of the ones you love. They aren't as heavy looking and are simpler. Hard to tell from the pictures, but they seem to be smaller and less overwhelming too. I think the key will be scale. They would go great with your existing chandelier. I get mixing it up, but everything else is very understated, clean-lined and casual. What are you doing for a backsplash?

The picture you posted of your kitchen with different finishes is more traditional with the raised panel cabs and light hardware. That kitchen could pull off french country. Yours is more modern and linear. I'm surprised you didn't get those finishes in the first place.

So its your kitchen. You should get whatever appeals to you. But you asked "what kind of pendant would go well" so thats different right?

These are pretty close to the ones in your inspiration photo (might just be the smaller version): http://www.lampsplus.com/products/crystorama-calypso-7-and-one-half-inch-wide-convertible-bronze-pendant__4x439.html

I love those pendants, thank you!!
For backsplash I'm doing subway tiles on cream. I didn't choose the raised panel cabinets, because the shaker cabinets are very in now and they go with everything, just in case i want to chance the style.:-)
