Dark spots/stains on grey silgranit sink

We've had the sink over a year with no trouble. Today I noticed what looks like irregular dark spots on the bottom of the sink....it didn't clean off when wiping/scrubbing/drying.

I don't feel any texture changes or see any scratches. I don't know what caused it as I've used the sink as usual with no new cleaners or scrubbers than I have used over the last year. Any idea?

ok, so the update:

Blanco gave me a 'regimen' to follow.

make a paste of water and powdered bkf.....

scrub small sections of the sink at a time with a green scrubby and the paste, rinsing in between each small section.......

apply mineral oil with a damp cloth.....

repeat nightly for 3-5 days.

call me crazy but after one good scrubbing I thiiiiiiiink I see a little improvement. I don't have any mineral oil yet but I plan on getting some tonight and starting that. I definitely think the sink has dried out and lost its luster.

So basically, I haven't been scrubbing my sink enough. I have to admit I was a little afraid of using a scrubby sponge on it, but apparently that's good. So the CS said since the material is porous that gunk can get in the 'crevices' and need a good regular scrubbing. Also the use of Dawn dish detergent is drying.

So that's the plan. We'll see where we are at in 5 nights.

Not sure what caused it, but did you try this to remove it? PLEASE forgive me if you already did, just trying to be helpful.

REMOVING STAINS AND MINOR SCUFF MARKS:
Normal Stains ~ for stains, please use a mild abrasive cleanser, along with a soft scouring pad.
Stubborn Stains ~ A solution of 50% bleach, 50% water should only be used for tough, stubborn
stains. Let the solution sit in the bottom of the sink for one hour; then scrub. Rinse well. Also,
the use of BAR KEEPERS FRIEND (directions included on bottle or can) will help remove
stubborn stains. (NOTE: with Anthracite or Café Brown, sink must be rinsed thoroughly with hot
water)

Hi, no I have not tried magic eraser or bleach. I have used bkf, and that doesn't help....the stain doesn't seem superficial...it almost looks like oil stains, except no pure oil has been in the sink....my spaghetti sauce has some olive oil in it , and that is what was most recently prepared....but I don't let food sit in the sink unrinsed.

Here's a link to the care instructions for silgranit 2. I'd exhaust these instructions and if it remains call Blanco. I've heard they have wonderful customer service and would not risk my warranty trying anything not in the list.

I will call tomorrow. I do not want to use anything they don't suggest. Although I have no idea if we are past the warranty.
