Growing Tomatoes

dreaded tomato blight?

First time growing tomatos, any help / info would be gratefully recieved, done a little internet research, hoping it isnt late blight. Is it still ok to eat the fruit if it isnt ruined? thanks

It's ok to eat the fruit :-).

Also check out Grey Mold as that and Late Blight are difficult to tell apart!

It does not look like Late Blight to me. If it is only the lower leaves I wouldn't worry too much at this point in the season.

Edit: I didn't see the stem in the first pic... that doesn't look good...

I have had horrible problems with gray mold this year. The dark parts on the stem look like what I've been dealing with.
