POLL: Design kitchen with an interior wall without UPPER cabinets?

We have all seen beautiful pictures of kitchens without upper cabinets but they are usually on an exterior wall.
Tell us if you have seen an interior kitchen designed this way and if you liked it!

Yes but it was not well done; weird!

In the photo you provided, I am assuming that there is a wall of cabinets on the wall opposite the window, and that it just didn't fit in the photo. I would not want a kitchen without upper cabinets, it's just not enough storage space, plus I would not want to have to bend over or squat to get everything because they are all in the lower cabinets.

I love the stove area with the shelves, very nice kitchen! To be honest, I am starting to like the open shelf concept but love it more as in the traditional Mexican kitchen. I have a pic of two traditional Mexican kitchen I like and the same concept put in a modernized Mexican Kitchen:
