Such a pretty chair but you are right it's too big. I think the 2 end chairs should match. A parsons chair...either skirted or with the legs showing...would look great.

I totally agree with Outshopping! I like the wing chair, but I think that it would be too large. Plus, I would not like the " yuck factor" of greasy hands on it.

Great furniture. Please don't slap white paint on it... better to pass it along to another family member if you don't like it.

This is a lovely set worth refinishing and reupholstering. Give it a chance. I really like that there are no awkward corner legs, so you can place chairs anywhere when there is a crowd.

Yes, it is beautiful set, keep as is and restore. Look at re-covering side chairs and get 2 host chairs for ends in a contrasting pattern or a solid.
