Green beans - second batch is curled?

I am a newbie to gardening. I have a couple of raised beds and have been having decent success.

My green bean crop (bush beans) produced its first batch of beans in late July. There were lots of beans to be picked daily.

Since then, the plants have blossomed again, and are starting to get more beans.

They aren't nearly as beautiful as the first batch. Many of them are c-shaped and small. Some yellow before they get a chance to grow.

Is my soil now deficient in something? Should I be adding something to the soil to support this second batch of beans?
