I'm installing several new flowerbeds and would like to install an irrigation system. I'm very handy around the house so I think this is definitely something I can handle. However, this topic is new to me so I'm looking for some good resources and guidance. Does anyone have suggestions on a website or other literature regarding the various components of an irrigation system and how they go together?

Also, I'm looking for suggestions on good quality parts to incorporate into my system. I want to avoid ending up with a system where the sprinkler heads break constantly, or the drip components get clogged up, because the parts are of inferior quality.
