The 16" wide sitting bench wall is constructed with a trench concrete strip footing and mortared reinforced CMU-wall on top (concrete masonry units with #4 = 1/2"thick rebar) which got cladded with 'Connecticut Blue Stone' veneer (+/-2"-3" thick). Top coping is a 3" thick 36' long 'Connecticut Blue Stone' slab.
