Kitchen Island Connundrum

We finished our DIY kitchen renovation a little over a year ago and I am 98% in love with the finished space. However, the island needs some help! I envisioned a greenish gray, but ended up with a minty green. Not good. I have tried to live with it, but I am ready to admit my mishap and change the color. Please help me choose a color with a little personality, but still classic. Thanks!

Love your reno.
Benjamin Moore has some great Grey colors.
"Grey horse" is lighter. "Storm Cloud Grey" is darker.
I've used them both with a lot of success.
Don't be afraid to be a little more bold - go darker.
You have a lot of natural light so it will not be too dark at all.

Love your kitchen! It looks like you're a red girl with your table and accents. You might try a butcher block stained in red similar to your table. I'm not sure how much upkeep it would be. Otherwise I think a stainless countertop would tie in your appliances and make the island stand out. Good luck.

Congrats on your remodel. Your kitchen looks awesome. I think you need to go darker on the island. Maybe a darker sage, charcoal gray, or black even. My vote is for black. I think that would contrast well and tie in nicely with your black granite.

The kitchen looks great. The island just needs to be more of a contrast it is too close to the cabinet color. I love the red table. If that wouldn't be to bold I could see it done in that color. A dark shade of Blue would also look great.

I agree with artemis1. Pull the color out of your granite that tops the island which looks like charcoal gray/black from these photos. If you open your photo in Paint, you can try different colors before deciding. Paint is accessed under All Programs/Accessories in a Microsoft operating system.
