the brick was an inexpensive wire cut brick with a smooth surface. the mortar joints were standard height with a very flat tooling of the mortar joints. the mortar joints have a slight recess from the face of the bricks appearing almost flush. the brick was painted with a white lime wash paint which allows the brick texture and surface to have a slight undulating appearance through the lime wash paint..

Was this lime wash tinted? Or is it Virginia Lime's bright white?
