No reason to not reuse. You can dampen and nuke the stuff to belay thoughts of fungal contamination.

I never reuse seed compost. I put it in the green garbage bin (don't know if something like this exists in the USA). In the Netherlands the green waste is collected every two weeks by the municipality and brought to a professional composting company.

If you put your used sowing compost in a microwave to kill bacteria and fungi you also kill the good bacteria and fungi.

I usually don't have any to reuse, as it goes into the ground or a pot along with the plant after seeds have sprouted.

Not a problem with seed starting. Kill ALL the fungi when seed starting! Starting seeds indoors is totally artificial and natural biota are unneeded and unwanted. People, I think, don't move the seeds on to a growth medium soon enough, where that stuff IS wanted.
