Nice seed pods Tracy, congratulations. I tied a thin thread around mine at two places very lightly after they were a month old. I was able to harvest all the seeds from all three plants

Thank you for your suggestion, Sinha. This is a great idea. Thread will be much less stressful on the pods as they grow larger in size. I read on KO's site that he uses panty hose. I don't really want to do this since the plant sits in my front yard. I will go with your recommendation.

Do you recall how many seeds were in the pods approximately?

Your seed pods seems healthy...its a sign that seeds will be very healthy. ..resulting more healthy seedlings. ..that's what I have experienced with my adeniums

Thank you for your response Artikri. I am hoping that the cold weather will hold off for another month for these to completely mature. I am excited at the thought of harvesting and then sowing seeds from my own plant. Have you ever encountered a cold season where you had pods not fully matured?

The number of seeds in each pod varies according to its size. I had one about 6 inches long which gave me around 36 seeds.

I live in bhopal it's on tropic of cancer so we don't get chilling winter..ideal for adenium to bloom from October till March. ..my adeniums got seed pod at onset of summer and it ripened at the end of summer. .seeds were very thick than compare to last year and almost all seed turned into seedlings in rainy season. ..except albino all my seedlings are doing good. .They are very healthy. All albino seedlings died after two weeks. .

I used elastic bands very loose to start with and they seem to be doing the trick expanding with the pod I live in the north of Thailand have just got interested in growing my own Adenium from seed
