I agree--use shutters, just not the ones on the house now. Research styles on this site.

no. The house looks so much better without them. I like shutters on some houses but not on yours. I like the cleaner uncluttered look.

I think shutters would be fine if you want a more traditional/cottage look. If you want more modern than leave them off. The house is non-descript enough in style to go either way. If you decide you want shutters, I would go with a louvered or more square panel style instead, the current ones look kind of like dog bones.

Cool house...shutters would make it ordinary! .....concentrate on the landscaping. Maybe some sort of tall evergreen to anchor the left corner of house.

Shutters would add some detail to your facade; but definitely would replace them with a modern design.

Shutters should be sized as though they would actually cover the window they are mounted on. I actually preferred your photo w/o shutters. The style you have is very outdated.

I like the shutters, but how about a different design of them like this
