Beyond the obvious necessary function it provides, we often consider the cabinet hardware styling as jewelry is to completing an ensemble. It's that finishing touch that can complete the 'look' and it all depends on what you're going for. Depending on the cabinetry and space, we believe that subtlety is a good place to start, but go out and explore the options. When shopping for hardware for Kitchen cabinets, easy function is critical. Consider easy access (while cooking with potentially wet, greasy hands for instance) and easy clean up (will the grooves that make up the cool detail on the pull potentially collect food & grease?). Test them out in the showrooms for comfort/size and weight. Are they hefty enough to stand up to use over time? And above all, have fun with it! You'd be surprised how rewarding the process can can be.

Doh! Sorry Ricardo! I just realized your 'true question' and how I didn't answer it! The 'no-hardware' look is totally 'On Trend' right now and we just placed a gorgeous dresser in a clients bedroom that is absolutely perfect without hardware. The drawers pull out from the bottom of the drawer where there's a hidden routed edge from beneath. And so....as with Fashion these days, pretty much 'Anything Goes', it's all about what look and feel you want to achieve.
