The 'no-hardware' look is totally 'On Trend' right now and we just placed a gorgeous dresser in a clients bedroom that is absolutely perfect without hardware. The drawers pull out from the bottom of the drawer where there's a hidden routed edge from beneath. And so....as with Fashion these days, pretty much 'Anything Goes', it's all about what look and feel you want to achieve.
