Some varieties of pomegranate are better adapted to survive winter freeze than others—typically the Russian ones. Thank you. I will wait till the leaves fall off then prune. That tree is awsome. Mine won't get 10 feet talk in a pot, but hoping in the years to come to get a few Poms. I will check the trunks when I am home. Also what coast? I'm east coast..I dont know if I can get it to live in the ground
