Need help selecting a set of comfortable dining chairs

We have a live edge table in a rich golden wood colour (it's actually four different woods from a region of British Columbia, we once lived in). We also use the table as a place to spend hours working. Our "make-do" current chairs (a combo of historic Mennonite chairs and authentic Bombo stools) just aren't comfortable for long sitting.. We'd like to have chairs that support the back and butt and encourage long stays at the table. Thinking we'd like real wood but comfort and great design are key. Like to spend no more than $600USD per chair. Suggestions?
