If you're keeping the wall color, I would suggest doing the curtains in cream with a non-linear sage green print to complement the cream sofa and the secondary color of sage green in the rug.

you have to paint the walls to grey it you wanna keep the rug. Btw chairs or not bad...

must say..I like the current fabric on chairs, but I would paint walls a cream, sage or grey. do drapes in cream, sage or navy. and a nice piece of art over the sofa to tie things together.

It's hard to tell but I had the walls wallpapered a grass cloth/sisal paper looks much lighter in person so walls are going to stay that color. The other color in the rug is more of a light blue would you recommend a cream or white curtain if the couch and rug are a true white? Thanks everyone for the help!

if you want to go cream..you will need to look at the fabric with your sofa..some will work..some will fight.

agreed..I liked the chair fabric when I thought the 2nd color in rug was sage. yes I like those drapes. maybe pull the lighter blue rug color onto chairs?

did you notice how bevs pic added art and pillows to tie it all together?

Yes thanks this looks good I agree it would help tie it together with using the lighter blue on the chairs and putting some accent blue pillows on the couch and of course a great piece of art for the wall.
