It sits in lodge pole pines. Plan to put in some leaf trees this spring and take out some pines. . . but at the moment all there is is green year around. It is in alpine area, so should the scallops be removed or painted a bright color, like red?? I am in Oregon, not the alps. . The siding is clear cedar, but has been painted since 1970 and am told it can't go back to natural or stain......
