Over time do the towel bars affect the way the door hangs

I am looking for a place to hang towel bars in my new house and I want them on the back of the door, but I am worried this will make the door uneven over time.

If the door is well made, and is hung correctly, there should not be a sag issue. On an older style, or low quality door, there could be issues as some of the joint methods can be weaker.
