Love the mosaic!

Did you lay the mosaic first then the cement? Or lay the cement leaving room for the mosaic? Looks tricky but magical.

    scale stencils made and positioned on ground to get correct placement. then wooden forms, lots of labor. finally cement pour around the forms. then a lower level of cement poured inside of forms. much work just to get to mosaic.
