What are these?

These ground covers are beautiful. Are the available and compatible for the east coast (Jersey) area?
Can they be walked on?
Do they prefer sun or shade?
I'm looking for something other than grass, for sun exposed areas, ... any ideas? Thank you!

In this photo we have New Zealand endemics Muehlenbeckia axillaris and Coprosma petriei, plants that won't adapt, or hardly so, to your area. You have available, however, a decent selection of hardy, ground-hugging plants that will take some light foot traffic (let's think of Veronica, Thymus, Trifolium, tiny Sedum, Phlox, Persicaria, etc.). Your local garden center will know better. Good luck!

Thank you. They are beautiful ground covers. And the berries to the Coprosma petriei are stunning. Wish I could see them here. The Wooly thyme looks like a possible substitute, but I do fear the traffic on it. Thanks again for the information and your suggestions. Brilliant!
