Suggestions for a warm gray....

Warm grays ?? I'm thinking of painting the walls in my living room/dining room a light warm gray (ceiling & woodwork is white) - sofa is terra cota color (leather) - carpet has colors of gray (both darks & lights+cream+black) - drapery background color is medium brown/white & grayish designs...dining room furniture is in natural oak as well as all floors...Need assistance in finding a light warm gray......

If you have a sherwin williams, one of my favorite warm grays is a retired color SW Mourning Dove. It does have green undertones, but that is what makes it a warm gray. yellow (warm) + blue (cool) = green. The accent colors in the room make the color change toward that direction and stay, but it stays warm. It is the one gray that looks great with painted or stained woods and still compliments the wood tones. Here are pictures of that color in my house. The master bedroom also has another retired color on the ceiling called SW Vintage Ornament its a very pale baby blue.

If you choose Revere Pewter, I discourage you from using flat paint. It has no life, it's almost a non-color. In an eggshell finish it's quite pretty.

I think a Revere Pewter has very strong green undertones.
We went with SW Agreeable Gray in our two-story living room and foyer, and I think with the maple floors we have and various earth-toned accessories, like a light beige rug in the living room, dark brown in the foyer, it pulls out the warmth in the paint. I feel we maybe could have gone a shade darker to Mega Greige, but overall I really am happy with the color. It is very, well, agreeable, and easy to work with!
Here are some pics. Love the angle from the dining room which is painted SW North Star bc it really shows how warm the Agreeable Gray is. And in the other photo you see the dark rug I added to the foyer. Don't mind the brass knobs on the French doors - those are getting switched out to brushed nickel this weekend!

Agreeable Gray is very nice, you may also want to consider Popular Gray.

Preference for Benjamin Moore paint colors...any ideas for a warm gray for my living/dining room?
