I think a fabric stool in a pretty color would look good! Check World Market, Pier 1

Ideas:

The most important factor when choosing counter stools is if they are comfortable. Then you can choose a style based on that.

Sandraclark I agree with your suggestions but because the floor is wood and it can be easily scratched my husband wants us to get a revolving or as I found out they are called a swivel chair so you revolve it to sit and get up and don't have to trail it in and out.
The thing that these chairs gave going for them is that they very comfortable and the vase comes out in chrome which is a lot better than inox I think

Does anyone know if any software that I can put the chairs in the picture of my kitchen to see how they will look?

Have you thought of introducing some upholstery at this point. You could have some bar stools made and have coordinating roman shades made to add color and texture to your beautiful space. Sunbrella and other outdoor fabrics now come in fun colors and patterns. They are great for seat cushions.

Sandyc that is a very good idea. I am buying curtains for my living room so maybe I should buy something to blend it all in together

The house is still being fixed and
We have to buy quite a few things a new dining room table , curtains etc but I wanted to give you a fell
Of the room
