My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The floor was stained with Minwax. However, there are a number of high quality decking stains on the market: Cabot, Olympic, Sikkens. If color is the determining factor, a test sample is going to be your best option. The color of the raw lumber is going to effect the color.

    It looks shiny! This must not be pressurized lumber. Really pretty! P.s. We used to live in Macon and had a screened porch built by Archadeck in the mid 90's. Who owns the company now?

    I have owned Archadeck of Central Georgia since 1999. Your project must have been built by Kieth, she was the owner at that time. Yes, the lumber is Pressure treated. These photo's were taken soon after the floor was stained. I am sure it is not as shiny now.
