DAve, I get emails from Gardener's Supply and I LOVED those jars, although a bit pricey for my budget. I did consider the kale stripper, but I've already canned all my kale. Maybe next year, or maybe a Christmas present.

OOH, I will have to check out the kale stripper. I love Swiss Chard, it's something that really grows well here but cutting out those thick stems is a pain (with Carpal Tunnel and Neuropathy - literally a pain!) Thanks for sharing a neat find!

The tomato corer reminds me of a post hole digger.

Those jars are great - I'm rethinking some of the things I might plan for the holidays now. I've made purchases from there, but products directly related to garden work.

I'm going to have to check out the kale stripper for every day kitchen use, whatever gets that balanced meal on the table quicker ;)

Yeah wife has decided she has to have some of those jars too for her jams and jellies for gifts this year. I'm assuming standard lids and rings will fit on them but not sure.

I already ordered the tomato corer and kale stripper. Hope it works as well as it looks like.

The Target stores in my area have the Kilner jars. (Not in the canning supply area.) Very nice looking.

I just showed a pic of the kale stripper to my honey and asked him to make me something similar in stainless (i dont do plastic.) That loooks really handy! We should be cool enough to start planting kale by the end of the month.
