Here is a mock up= I have wall mounted your TV, added an ottoman that you can use for extra seating, made a small sitting area and then a desk ( although I have no idea what is on this bottom wall)- this sitting area could also be a table area. I don't have your footage so I just guessed:

Thanks so much for your ideas. I'm thinking of putting a wall mounted tv on the rust wall, a sectional to face it and a dining table behind it. I am torn with color choices for a sectional, media center and selection and positioning of plants for this room.
