We have 5 of the cheap Home Depot lights in the basement, making the basement dark and shadowy. It is a drop ceiling basement. I would love to put recessed lighting in, but that requires an electrician and at this point would rather spend the money elsewhere. Can we replace these lights with better/brighter options, can they big BIGGER or is it recommended to go with the same size? Any suggestions/directions/feedback. Thank you!
