Wow! What a tall room! For it, larger-scale chandeliers with multiple tiers are a good idea--make sure to get ones where you can add more chain or downrods to bring the chandelier down a little closer to you so it's not just lighting the ceiling. Adding recessed lighting (can lights) brings in another layer of light that can help you adjust the lighting levels depending on what you're doing. I've also seen LED tape tucked into the details of a tray ceiling or eaves of a tall ceiling for another really neat lighting effect, if you'd like to think about that. Also, make sure to have lighting like table and floor lamps at the sitting/standing level.
