Since this is totally new area for me, I need some advice. What would you do in this terrace? This is on the ground floor, in city centre, so it can’t be too fragile etc. It has to be pretty solid, and weather harsh elements.

What kind of grill arrangement would you suggest? What kind of roof or whatever to put above seating area? a stone table with fire grill in centre? Open to all inputs.

Yard size is about 485sqft (45sqm). It is approximately 50ft (15m) long and ca 9ft (3m) wide.

Half is wooden deck, half is grass. The problem is this is a shady side, so grass has bit of trouble growing, so I’m considering covering it up with some dark gravel and putting stones on top, or just covering it in more wood.

There are some trees and wine there but as this is unfinished and unused area.

Any tips and suggestions are super welcome.
