Carpeting with pad has been the flooring option. Now wish to remove to eliminate anything that might create an allergy problem for our new family members. Need waterproof solution as well. Also, would really like to have some type of cushioning to minimize discomfort when standing for longer periods. Any suggestions? Hoped we might find a rubber-based product that did not require adhesive for installation. Potential for flooding.
