What do you plan on using the entertainment room for? If it is a media room, it's fine, but if it is a sitting room, consider making a second doorway into the kitchen. Otherwise nobody will ever go in there; it's a dead end.

Unless you have some kind of plans that require the entertainment room closed off like that, I would remove the walls. One possibility might be to shrink the size of that room and make it a dining room, making your main living space larger.

In addition to a general family space, we were planing on having a really good theater with the drop-down screen and really good sound (audiophile, guilty!) for family movie nights. we were thinking of maybe making the door a double. will review the sizing again.
