How did you hide closing the door on the exterior. Is your house siding, brick or other

We were able to close off the area and put a window because we had extra siding left over.

I would have used white appliances. With the white cabinets, it would not look so "choppy".
It is a great kicthen and you were wise to get the French door fridge.

It's beautiful! I'm a big fan of white cabinetry, especially with hardwood floors. Your tile backsplash is fabulous. I like the small, moveable island in the contrasting color.

This reminds me so much of my kitchen in my previous home that we redid and we had painted the oak cabinets creamy white with oil rubbed bronze hardware. Can you tell me what color you used on your cabinets? I am trying to get the courage to do the same thing again at my new 15 yr old home now, but I have twice the cabinets and it is a very big job. Just can't remember what color I used.
