What are the dimensions of this room? My first thought was too many doors, not enough walls. I would make the entry a single door and not French doors. Depending on the length of the wall, you can have the doorway closer to a corner to allow for more wall space. Make sure the door opens into the room to the short corner so the swing of the door doesn't take up more room.

I would change the entry doors to a single door. Remove the door closets to the TV. This will give you more wall space. Take the TV mount off the wall. You could get a taller dresser and place the TV on it, so when you are in bed its high enough to see. That will also make it out-of-site when you enter the room. If you did get a taller dresser I would remove the low one by the window and push the bed down about a foot-18" towards the corner. Add some drapes that are hung as high as you can to give the window wall more height. The mirror could be hung in the bath or the walk-in closet and the clock could be replaced with a more decorative clock. You might be able to put a small chair in the corner that corner, or a bench under the window, Table lamps and a decorative piece over the headboard would complete the look.

Great advice regarding the doors, drapes, lamps, re-positioning the TV, choice of bedding and color scheme (keep it white or light), find other places in the house for the clock and mirror!

The bed and other furniture are very dark for the size of room so I would suggest 2 x large sham cushions up against the headboard and 2 - 3 smaller one in front of them. Not in favor of painting beautiful wood but I wonder what would happen if you stripped the varnish off and bleached the wood? Bit of a job but well worth the effort. Once the drapes are chosen, and it IS important to hang them as high as possible, you may want to hang a blind or faux blind in a plain complementary color to hide the wall between the ceiling and the top of the window. Picture or paintings will liven up the room too. The important thing is to have fun while you are doing everything.

Consider moving the bed in front of the window. It looks like it will fit with 2 nightstands. Leave only blinds on the windows. This way you aren't looking at your bathroom and closet? when laying in bed. If budget allows, change your double door entry to a modern barn door style. Or if you don't like that look, change the double doors into 2 pocket doors. This will open up the 2 small corners for a round table beneath the TV. In the other corner you should be able to add a small chair. You can move the dresser along the wall where your bed is now. I would definitely get rid of that clock! Your standing mirror could be replaced by one that hangs on the back of your bathroom or closet door. Out of sight. If your budget allows, get a romantic ceiling fan/chandelier. If you don't use the fan, opt for just a romantic chandelier. You might be able to change out the light package on your existing fan. something along these lines.

Add some romantic bedside lamps and you should have enough light int he room. I'd also add either a big mirror or big piece of art on the hallway wall. Visually it will be included in the room when the doors are open. I also happen to like the color combination in this picture above. Keep things neutral, and add an accent color. I wouldn't get a bed cover that has a pattern. It will make the room look small. Opt for a solid color with only accent pillows that are patterned. Good Luck.

I think it would be striking to place your bed centered on the window. Add drapes to frame it. Do you really need the tv in the bedroom?

Once the bed is centered on the window, then move the dresser to the wall the bed was on. Move it close to those double doors. Hang the tv on the wall on an arm that will allow it to swing out for viewing in bed.

Corner where tv now is: once tv moved you can add a real plant.

The furniture is super nice and modern, I love the deep dark color, but the over all room needs work.By adding color, texture, and patterns to the room you will add some personality to the room and give it life.
