I depends on environmental conditions, but my neighbor planted a hedge of them about a year ago that were 4 to 5 feet tall and they're all over 6 feet now. (Zone 10a)

My neighbor has one which is over 30 feet. He has never trimmed it (I keep telling him it would look better trimmed).

They loose branches lower down. They begin to look like trees. If you don't maintain them properly they will not provide any privacy as they lose their lower branches. I would advise keeping them trimmed letting the base of the plant stay wider than the top so the top doesn't shade the bottom (as my neighbors is). They then become a nice hedge.

I planted one in the early spring, haven't had to trim it yet as it hasn't grown at all! It looks healthy, just isn't growing.

I bought and planted 12 last December’19, at about 3ft tall. I have them now at around 4.5ft in A little over a yr and right now its growth season so I should be at around 5.5-6ft by next year. I fertilize them 3x a yr. late winter, late spring and late fall. (Z10 SWFL) pretty hot out here for a pine type so I keep it watered A bit but I control the water on them. I let them dry out real good. As far as trimming, I think the more time trim it’s new growth tips, the faster it grows. i religiously am out weekly for any outburst growth. I have a set of 11 as a privacy screen along a screened pool cage, I have a set of 16 in between properties that will act as a Full 9ft hedge.(its currently at 5ft tall)
