Orange was the first color that came to mind. Like a burnt orange, I found these that I thought looked nice. The second one is wood but I thought it might show what your panels would look like after you seal them. I also saw some dark reds and plums but if you have a covered porch some colors could look too dark. A gold or a mustard could work. A pic would help, a wide shot to see how much of your panels will show and a closer one to see the door.

I concur! As long as it isn't too orange, I think it would be sassy! I like the cinnamon and burnt orange suggestions best. The first photo above looks a little too much like a pumpkin, which you might want to avoid. Just my own personal taste. A deep burgundy might look nice too.
