With the 2 elaborate and eye-catching side tables, I'd go for a very simple coffee table....maybe something organic, in wood, with squarish lines.

Also, both side tables need more breathing room around them, since they are so striking.

Generally, in a room (and in life), 10% of objects/surfaces should be stars, 20% should be strong supporting players, and the balance should be chorus or crowd scene (lower key). Avoid a living room where every piece is a powerful style icon.....it doesn't look right and can drain beautiful pieces of their meaning. Every star needs her backdrop!
