What color to choose? So many choices

Need two Benjamin Moore paint colors for my dining room. It has antique furniture, table with cannon ball legs, hardwood floor, cornice and chair rail. All trim is honey oak and I am NOT painting it. Thinking of bleaker beige as one of the colors. What do you suggest for lighter color? Do I put the lighter color on the top of the chair rail or the bottom? Currently have a 9 x 12 rug under the table. Thank you!

What color is your rug as beige can have different undertones and should compliment? It's also hard to recommend, as colors can look very different based on lighting, etc. in a room. Your best bet might to bring home a few paint pots and test how they look in your room. BM's Williamsburg colors are historic and
contemporary (see link below) and Bracken Cream is a beige, but again will depend on your rug/room lighting.
