Are the back cushions attached or removeable?

Hi there, thanks for your question! The Marco is great and is expertly crafted by hand to order (just for you) right here in the USA! It's cozy and built to last a very long time :)

The seat and back cushions are fully reversible and removable, yes! In fact, we recommend regular flipping of cushions as much as possible. The chaise cushion is unable to be flipped but its size usually keeps it structurally in tact for longer than the individual cushions fyi. The covers of the seat cushions are also fully removable if ever needing a deeper cleaning or dry cleaning!

The Smoke fabric holds up extremely well, however, so you shouldn't have any issues with keeping it nice and tidy for years to come :)
