From what direction is the natural like coming?

The large windows in this pic face the north; but we have lots of windows on the west as well (glass doors and kitchen windows are facing a pool).

And floors are a dark brown hardwood

Where's the sofa? Gray can have so many different undertones that you need to pay attention to for wall paint color.

Sofa is in front of the built-ins.
The problem with this space is that paint looks completely different on each wall. Right now I have sw quicksilver and sw reflection as the front runners, but they might be too cool for the cream cabinets. I don't want greige, and I don't want something too baby blue. Any other suggestions for really light greys that are a bit warmer that would still brighten up the room?

Any other advice?

A blogger I enjoy did Sherwin Williams Sea Salt and likes it. it looks pretty in her pictures but I haven't seen in in person.
