help placing appliances

We are building an apartment and we need to submit changes to the builder's architectural plans. Space is definitely limited and counter space is very important. Please help me place appliances/sink so that I can submit electrical/plumbing changes to our builder. The kitchen dimensions are 280x370cm. All appliances are standard 60 cm
wide. so oven (built in), stove, dishwasher, etc (European sizes). A 90cm bottom
cabinet space is traditionally left for the sink. In the plans, 100cm is taken from the 370 for
fridge space (and set it back into the next bedroom over so it doesn't
stick out too much). Space for upper cabinets is important so I'm hesitant to place the stove in the middle of the long side of the L (wall of the fridge). Thanks in advance!!

You can make the wall area behind the refrigerator a single thickness so you don't have to bump into the BR so much. In our case, we got about 12 cm. I put a layer of 19 mm plywood on the kitchen side, and the usual 13 mm drywall on the BR side. If you recess the fridge as shown, the doors may not open properly. Usually it has to be out in the room a bit so the door can open fully.

    For those not fluent in metric, 280 X 370 = 9'2" X 12' 1".

you don't have much room for uppers or lowers but I don't see where else you can put your stove.

you could put drawers opening on the end of the island to pull out for dishes when you unload the dw. the island looks to be where more drawers can be.

it looks like a pantry wall on the bottom - maybe you could put a few larger drawers in the lower part of that (with doors over them) for larger items like pots/pans, large bowls, plastic ware etc.

A pantry that deep is easy to lose things in...

Hi, thank you both for the comments. Re the fridge, the bottom cabinets are 60 cm deep, with a bit overhang of counters. I realize the fridge has to stick out a bit but if I don't set it back into the BR, i'm afraid it will too far out. Desersteph, do you think a 24 inch deep pantry (60 cm) is too deep? Why no room for uppers on the wall of the fridge? Why not put the stove against the tiled wall at the edge of the kitchen, then the dishwasher, then the sink (not centered under the window)?

To me, the only other choice you have is to move the cooktop over to the island and that is not a look that everybody likes. I imagine by this point you have taken the time to find counter depth refrigerators and have determined that they will not suit your needs.

Re refrigerators, most are much deeper than the counters, and most people just have their fridge stick out way too far. Thats why I set back the wall.
