Was thinking for Ottoman, Wall Sconces (can't decide), sofa console and wall art. Advice?

I would get a wood or glass table. The sofa is taking up almost all of the room so glass would be a good buy. Will keep what little space you have open.

Are you moving the TV to a console or hanging it on the wall? The wall that faces the sofa?

Leaving the TV on the wall, moving up off the mantel. The image is a little deceptive, there's a little more space than what it appears.

My inspiration is more rustic and comfortable for the family room.

I get you want "rustic comfort" so how about a round hammered copper coffee table? It will break up all of the rectangles (everything is a rectangle) and introduce another texture without adding the bulk of an ottoman. Having said that, if your family really wants the ottoman, I think your choice is excellent.
