Need storage solution for tiny bathroom

I am in a old home with 1 tiny bathroom. Our bathroom is 5x8. On one wall is situated the tub, toilet and silk. On the opposite wall we would like to have a storage unit, but the problem is that there is only about 11 inches of depth before it encroaches into the floor space; ie the door jamb is located 11 inches away from the wall and I don't want storage to go beyond this point as it looks really bad. I can recess but only about 2-3 inches as there is a closet that backs up to the wall in another room.
I am looking for some type of storage unit with a narrow depth, ideally under 12 inches, with drawers, and shelving as well. Any ideas? We have been looking at antique furniture hutches, as they are usually narrower depth, but nothing that we have come across has been a viable solution.

I think your best bet is to just do it yourself. Purchase 1 x 6s and have them cut to the length of the wall you want shallow shelves. You can paint or stain to your liking. It's easy to install brackets, maybe three each shelf, one on each end, and one in the center.

I am wanting drawers as well and not only shelving. This is our only bathroom in the house, and even though it is small, I want it to look nice and not cobbled together.

any other ides?

Looking for furniture that may fit the bill... Narrow furniture with drawers that has a depth of 12 inches or below.

If the door jamb is 11 inches away, how can you have a 12" shelf or drawer?

Depending on the storage option I may be able to recess it into the wall.

The bath storage from ikea is IMO ugly. I have an old house and the style does not work at all. think crown moldings and hex tile floors. Ikea bath storage does not work.

I am looking for an all encompassing piece of furniture with drawers and shelves and doors, 12 inches deep or less.

I think that your best bet is to contact a woodworker and have it built. It probably will not cost much.....Good Luck.
