Yep. Do you know of some of the new color forms in the species? There is White Mischief, which is a solid white form, and Daniel's Dream, which has white calyxes and stems, and rose colored flowers.

Showy hybrids, some with longer bloom times, include Phyllis' Fancy and Waverly. Magenta Magic is a brand-new one that needs to be tested in the USA.

'White Mischief' would be an excellent addition to a white garden theme! I really like 'Daniel's Dream' with its grayer foliage, too. Do you know of any leucantha varieties in the blue range? I have been a fan of 'Black & Blue' but has had a tendency to get chlorotic on some of my installations. 'Patio Deep Blue' is one of my more recent favorites. 'Pineapple' Sage is a great one too for a tropical look!

I've never understood why "Midnight" is harder to find than the usual bicolored form, as (at least to me) it is considerably more ornamental.

I grow it occasionally, but it's a crap shoot as to whether it'll start flowering much before frost hits.

I agree Rusty, I feel like we are waiting forever to see those blooms, I plan to do a bit of research to see what will ramp this plant up for earlier flowering!
