Does anyone have recommendations for a truly organic lawn care company in the Orlando area? Or organic tips to care for it ourselves? Our house sits on a large (almost half acre) lot with St Augustine. We have had problems with brown spot I believe, crabgrass and other weeds. We had trugreen treating it with their "organic" program but it just got a lot worse. I don't think they were really doing much but spreading fertilizer. They weren't very meticulous about the weeds. My husband has been putting baking soda on the crabgrass to kill it which has worked well, but we don't know how to take on treating the whole lawn ourselves since it's so big. We have 2 small children and I do not feel comfortable spraying chemicals on the lawn all the time.
