We just bought this house and plan on doing several things. I was in love with the idea of a "farmhouse" as this house wasn't anything I was too crazy about but the location and price were too great to pass up. It's a 1940's house with a new addition. I loved all the painted furniture and antique glaze looking stuff (I will attach pics) but once our furniture was in-I liked it better than I thought. I love the idea and look of doing something different than most " traditional" looks, just not sure now what I want. The walls will be painted too so I'm open to opinions on a good color! The porch is a huge wood porch with beams and large area for sitting too.
