Pc website can't close follow 5 topics

When I go to the website on my PC it opens a window to follow 5 topics which I don't want to do. I can't get out of that window to login or do anything. There's no "x" in the corner of the window to escape. I am running Windows 8.1 64 bit. Can you please help.

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! We're experimenting with some ways to tailor content to be a bit more relevant to users based on their interests. It sounds like you are seeing that topic selection as part of that process. At this stage there is no way past that screen without selecting topics. Sorry about the frustration!
