Hello. We currently have the foundation poured for our new house and we are wanting to use some more appealing siding material than just hardie plank. We want to use Hardie Panels (4x8) with easy trim reveals along with aluminium long board made to look like wood in a effort to get a more modern/contemporary exterior that is unlike the rest in our cul-de-sac.

My dilemma is how does one view the best way to arrange the siding materials on the side of the house so that the our builder can do what is asked? Are there programs out there to upload the exterior elevations and add on materials and colors to have a preview of what the house would look like or is this something that is reserved for a professional architect in where there is a cost associated?
