We are in the process of redoing the front exterior of our home. Siding/windows are complete. Front door will be installed next week (mahogany farm door).

I lieu of spending a fortune ripping out this concrete porch, we are wanting to replace the white poles with cedar poles (or a type of wood with some dark knots to match mahogany door), ripping out concrete sidewalk and replacing with pavers.

My dilemma is the far left pole. It's an old home and at some point, previous owners added this blob of concrete to hold it. We have no idea how to replace this pole while making sure it's structurally secure (it's load-bearing).

Any ideas?
